Newport Guildhall on the High Street with a drop in service on:
Thursdays 9:30am to 12:30pm

Madeley Library has appointments available on Mondays 10am to 2pm and must be booked through First Point on 01952 380000

Stirchley Library at The Sambrook Centre on Wednesdays 9:30 to 11:30

Dawley Town Hall has appointments available on Fridays 10am to 1pm.

Which? Switch offers an online service to compare energy suppliers and see how much you could save or you can call them on 01992 822 867. Their expert advisers are on hand from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
When you call make sure you know how much energy you currently use. This can be found on a recent bill or annual energy statement.

If you are struggling to pay your energy bills or are worried about staying warm this winter, call the Home Heat Helpline on 0800 33 66 99 or visit www.homeheathelpline.org.uk

The Home Heat Helpline is a free, impartial and confidential service that provides advice on managing energy bills for people on low incomes or in poor health. You can speak to a friendly, expert advisor who can give you advice on rebates, grants and the basic steps you can take to save money on your energy bills by making your home more energy efficient.

Water and Utilities

Severn Trent Trust Fund

Severn Trent Trust Fund can consider making a grant to meet water and/or sewerage charges due to Severn Trent Water if you are in hardship and unable to pay. The Trust can also help with water or sewerage charges which are collected by other companies or organisations on behalf of Severn Trent Water. In certain cases, the Trust can also consider giving some help to meet other essential bills, household needs or priority debts.
